Questions

Questions about Graduate School convocation may be sent to GS.Commencement@austin.utexas.edu.

Doctoral graduates

Doctoral students who graduated in the Summer 2024 or Fall 2024 terms, as well as those who have applied to graduate and completed all degree requirements for the current Spring 2025 term, are eligible to participate in the Graduate School Convocation ceremony.

We will be using a system called Tassel to streamline the RSVP and communication process for the Graduate School Convocation ceremony. All students planning to participate in the 2025 Graduate School Convocation are required to RSVP. Please note that attendance at the ceremony is optional.

Once you are approved to graduate, your information will be added to UT’s RSVP portal, Tassel, which will allow you to confirm your attendance and claim tickets for your guests.
