The UT Austin Graduate School is calling on graduate students to design our newest t-shirt! All currently enrolled master's and doctoral students at The University of Texas at Austin are eligible to compete. One winner will receive $300 for their design, which will be printed on t-shirts given out at New Graduate Student Orientation and other Graduate School events!
Deadline to submit your design is May 2, 2025.
Design Rules
- Follow the University’s style guidelines.
- Front side design only and a maximum of two colors.
- Design must be built/created using Canva, Illustrator, or InDesign in vector formats (AI, EPS, SVG, PDF).
- You can submit a PNG, JPG or PDF file as your official entry, and we will follow up for print-ready files.
- Individually created designs are preferred. Any web images used must be royalty-free and not copyrighted.
- Do not include the logo or any of the University's supporting marks in the design in compliance with UT's Trademarks and Licensing office.
- We will add the Graduate School logo to the back or sleeve of the t-shirt.
Competition
- The competition is open to all graduate students enrolled at The University of Texas at Austin.
- Design must follow all of the above guidelines to be eligible.
- All entries become property of The University of Texas at Austin and the Graduate School.
- The winner will also be asked to provide the original file format so the department can submit file to t-shirt printing company.
- Designs will have to be approved by UT’s Office of Trademarks and Licensing and the winner may be asked to make revisions.
- Contest winner will receive $300 prize!
- Submissions due May 2, 2025.
