In the first stage of the Empower Your Pitch competition, a dedicated panel of coaches will provide feedback to all contestants, helping fine-tune the pitches for subsequent rounds. Round 1 will include the option to participate virtually, inviting participation from diverse groups from the global Longhorn community.

Kaitlyn Kroeger, CPA, will lead a seminar covering the most common income tax issues for graduate students.

This interactive workshop, led by a highly experienced improv practitioner and science communications expert, will give you concrete strategies for using improv skills to engage and delight your audience.

Learn the characteristics of an effective teaching statement —including what search committees look for —and begin drafting/refining your statement to vibrantly convey your teaching values and the instructional choices you make to help students achieve learning goals.
