Each year, the Graduate School publishes statistics detailing the number of students who apply to, are admitted to and enroll in its programs. These statistics offer insight into the programs' selectivity and yield rates. Also published are the average grade-point averages and test scores for each admissions cycle.
Please note that the following reports do not include students applying for readmission, to change their graduate major, or as part of a University affiliated exchange program. Dual degree applicants with the Law School are also excluded.
Selectivity & Yield (Applied/Admitted/Enrolled):
Average GPA by Applied/Admitted/Enrolled:
Average GPA is calculated for US institutions only, regardless of whether the student was seeking a degree. Not all applications receive a GPA calculation due to varying factors, so please note the n and N values as defined at the bottom of each page within the report.
Average GRE/GMAT by Applied/Admitted/Enrolled:
Average GRE/GMAT calculated based on the number of scores received (see N value as defined at the bottom of each page within the report). GRE scores for tests taken prior to August 2011 were adjusted using the ETS Concordance table.
